Not everyone loves shopping, but EVERYONE enjoys saving money. I have way to many tabs open on my safari full of items costing up to $500 (with all worthless products I don’t even truly need!!). In todays article I am going to contain some fashion, beauty and lifestyle alternatives for high-end products that I am obsessed with!
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty light wand pinkgasm VS Rare Beauty Soft pinch liquid blush
When it comes to blush everyone has a different preference, some like a light and rosy sun kissed look and others like a dark red tint. The first thing I notice about these two blushes is that Charlotte Tilbury only has 2 blush shades, while Rare Beauty has over 10 different shades. Charlotte Tiburys blush is also double the price of the Rare Beauty blush yet they come in less color options. Charlotte Tilbury has the hype all over Tiktok right now however Rare Beauty is slowly joining them. I have both of these products (because I give into trends very easily) and one thing I would tell you is to save your money and buy the Rare Beauty Blush. The Charlotte Tilbury wand is very messy if you don’t close it the right way and for $40, the packaging isn’t overall the best. Both blushes have beautiful pigment and are extremely stunning, still, I would put your money in the cheaper option as they are so extremely similar in looks.
Self-Portrait bow detail off shoulder dress VS ZARA tied dress
Imeditley we have a HUGE price range here for 2 dresses that look almost identical. Both dresses are extremely well crafted and simple yet stunning. The Self-Portrait dress has been all over my pintrest and I have been looking for a cheaper option because I cannot be spending over $500von a dress right now, and I came across the Zara dress! Clearly the Zara dress is more affordable however I am not sure how the materials feel nor fit because I have not seen it in stores. If you love a simple yet chic AND affordable dress then head over to Zara and put this dress in your cart!
Hello Molly Sweet Ballerina Dress White VS LoveShackFancy Akilah Mini Dress
Like the Post before this, there is a huge price range. LoveshackFancy is a known for its beautiful vintage floral prints and overall classy aesthetic, however it isn’t exactly in everyone’s budget. There are many websites that sell look-alikes of LoveShackFancy but my overall fav is Hello Molly. Both brands sell the most trendy dress of the time (in my opinion). The true only visible difference is in the price. With almost a $400 difference - I would simply purchase the Hello Molly dress any day. Many people cannot spend $475 on a dress they will simply wear one or twice. You could buy 3 similar dresses from Hello Molly for the price of one LoveShackFancy dress.
Amazon Uni-Sex Cloud slides VS Adidas Yeezy Pure Slides
I think we can all be in agreement that these aren’t the CUTEST slides, but they sure are comfy (at least the amazon ones..). I purchased the Amazon cloud slides recently and let me just say WOW it feels like you are walking on air. These shoes also happen to look a lot like the $250 Yeezy slides. The obvious difference is the price, more than a $200+ difference. The other difference is the cloud slides from Amazon come in more than 20+ colors, while the Yeezy slides only have around 10. If you are trying to save some money but you also want the Yeezy slides, just go with the Amazon ones for now. The Yeezy slides will be out of style in a year from now and you will regret spending almost $300 on a pair of slides. Trust me.
ASOS Collective Label structured bandeau tier mini dress VS Bronx and Banco Anna Strapless Tulle Mini Dress
I have seen the Bronx and Banco dress everywhere and its safe to say, this dress is definitely a statement. I love the brand Bronx and Banco, their dresses are so elegant yet modern and they are just captivating. That being said, this dress is extremely out of the price range for many people. This look alike dress from ASOS is much more affordable especially if your only wearing this dress once or twice. Even though the dress is different colors the ASOS dress comes in different colors ranging from purple, green and rainbow. Aside from the price and color, the quality of ASOS products has never failed to disappoint me. Yes, the quality of Bronx and Banco is most likely better but since this dress is honestly not a dress you are going to be wearing everyday, I think settling for the ASOS dress is a win in my book.
H & M Chelsea Boots VS Dr. Marten’s 2976 Chelsea Boot
Not only do these boots look EXTREMLY alike, they literally have the same name. I’m honestly in shock. It is clear that the H&M boots are the better buy. I have a pair of boots from H&M and they are genuinely super comfortable, especially for $40. These boots are a staple for the fall/winter season and they can just be paired with so many different outfits and styled completely different. If you want to go with the doc martens you totally can but these H&M boots look so much alike and for less than half the price.
